Customer Project Payments & Delivery
Customer pays dealer. Dealer pays BTS. BTS begins after cleared project payment.
The three-step payment arrangement
- End customer pays the dealer: The dealer quotes their customer, agrees on the retail price, and collects payment for the project and its expenses.
- Dealer pays BTS: BTS supplies the dealer a project-specific quote. The dealer pays BTS the required project amount under that quote.
- BTS starts the build: BTS begins the approved work only after the dealer’s payment has cleared and the required project details are provided.
Who pays for hosting and external services?
The end customer is responsible for all agreed project expenses. These can include domain registration, hosting, software subscriptions, API usage, storage, paid integrations, licenses, maintenance, and advertising. The customer funds those costs through the dealer; the dealer coordinates payments and setup under the customer agreement. BTS and the dealer are not expected to advance these costs on the customer’s behalf.
Dealer selling price and profit
The dealer sets the price charged to the customer and manages that commercial relationship. BTS quotes the dealer its own project price. Any difference between the customer price and BTS price is the dealer’s gross margin before the dealer’s other costs, taxes, refunds, and business expenses. There are no guaranteed margins or earnings.
Projects are separate from membership
The $99/month fee gives eligible dealer membership benefits, including the dealer’s own business website with foundational SEO and a starter marketing plan under the approved membership scope. It does not prepay for a customer's website, app, custom development, usage, third-party hosting, or other customer-specific project.
Scope and delivery
Before a build, the dealer and BTS agree in writing on deliverables, project price, timelines, revisions, required customer materials, external account responsibilities, and acceptance criteria. BTS does not begin before the quoted payment clears. Any additional work or recurring services are quoted separately.
Refunds, ownership, and handoff
Project cancellations, refunds, warranties, ownership, source code, ongoing maintenance, and support depend on the signed project agreement. Dealers are responsible for giving their end customers accurate terms and resolving their own customer-facing sales issues.
